Counting of Sushi( = kan)

You count how to count sushi with

1 “one= ii-kan near ichi-kan”, 2 “two=ni-kan”.

In Japanese, pronounce 1=”ichi”.

However, pronounce it “i” or “ii” briefly when connect it with other words.


Neta ( = material)

"neta" or “tane” means materials of the sushi.

For example,

The materials of the newspaper article are "neta" too.


Murasaki ( = soy sauce)

It is the words that there was from a color purple.

It is soy sauce. (=in Japanese “shouyu”)
