Japan Kanji Oo mean King Syogi Chess
A king is “ou” in japanese.
But the Japanese “Tennou = Emperor” is different a King in some implication.
The Emperor was called “Oo-kimi” mean “BIC King” until the early seventh century.
Do not have assets like British Queen and do not have some kind of authority.
I may be known like just a decoration when I say in this way.
However, the imperial family lasts 125 generations.
Most of Japanese respect the Emperor.
He become the support of the Japanese heart.
In addition, King of the shogi which is chess of Japan says King ,too.
